Melanie: Getting Ready for the Show

I have been a very busy bee getting ready for the Funky Junk Sisters show on May 13 & 14 in Puyallup.

These are just a few of the items that I will be offering for sale at the show.  The vintage typewriter and its original case and this handmade concrete cross with Madonna and child.

This little Boston Terrier figurine looks so real!  I also can't help myself when I find an old scale.  I think they look so good for display.

I filled this little shelf with old bottles and a snuff box.

Can you believe how worn this old wooden bowling pin is?  It has just the right amount of paint missing for my tastes.

Can you imagine a time when people actually had to record their time in a book such as this?  I have really been having a good time preparing for this show.  Two more weeks to go!

Have fun at your show. My husband and I used to do antique shows/flea markets. Lots of work, but still fun. Thanks for stopping by my blog. One suggestion to display your postcards is to put them in a frame and change them out every once in a while. You could have a background of lace in your frame. Just don't glue or tape the actual card. Scan it for art projects. Have a great day.
